01The Challenge
Joey Klein — founder of Inner Matrix Systems, trained 84,000+ individuals, and a speaker at Fortune 500 companies including Dell, Boeing, IBM, and Coca-Cola — operated across three separate web properties with no flagship personal brand destination. Prospective corporate training clients, conference bookers, journalists, book buyers, and individual coaching applicants were each navigating fragmented, disconnected experiences. Additionally, the upcoming launch of his second book (Relationship Alchemy: A Practical Guide to Getting Along Well With Others) required a fully functional influencer/affiliate partner coordination platform — assets, bulk ordering, Amazon campaign guidelines, and a contact portal — with none of the right infrastructure in place.
02Our Approach
We built on HubSpot CMS Hub using the Projects framework and the Islands Architecture pattern — delivering React-based modules with full TypeScript type safety and CMS-editable field schemas, without sacrificing the content management experience Joey's team needed. Every module was purpose-built from scratch against Joey's specific brand system: two custom typefaces (PP Neue Montreal, Saol Display), a six-token color palette, and a DaisyUI semantic layer mapped to brand conventions. We delivered a full personal brand platform in one unified codebase: an author hub, a corporate speaking bureau profile with press kit, a dual-track coaching acquisition page (Mastery Track and 1:1 Training), a course purchase flow with Clickfunnels integration, an exit-intent lead capture modal, and a complete seven-module Influencer Promo Page suite for book launch operations — all deployable, editable, and maintainable by Joey's marketing team without code changes.
